內容簡介 Hereditary is an horror film directed by newcomer Ari Aster. It follows the Grahams, a family in mourning after the passing of grandma. Annie, the family’s mother, suspects that not all is as it seems after grandma’s death – something unnatural may have been left behind. Following lavish praise from early screenings and a successful run on the festival circuit, the film was released in the UK on 15 June.Scoring duties on Hereditary came to Colin Stetson.As an American saxophonist, Colin Stetson has collaborated live and in the studio with artists such as Tom Waits, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, TV On The Radio, Feist, Laurie Anderson, Lou Reed, The Chemical Brothers, Animal Collective, LCD Soundsystem, and many others.He also composed the score to 2016 film Lavender with Sarah Neufeld.Stetson has conjured an instant classic for Hereditary using an army of strings and drones. The end result is a uniquely uneasy, sinister suite of music capped with one of the most unexpected conclusions in recent years – listeners will find themselves totally possessed."
