Diana Ferguson is an experienced writer and editor who has worked for many years in illustrated non-fiction for both adults and children. As well as editing a family magazine series on natural history and writing for a children's wildlife magazine, she has written a number of books on art, myth, and folklore. Simon Mendez is an illustrator who takes particular pleasure in rendering images in exquisite detail often with an enchanting ethereal quality.
